Pavucha! is a new holiday musical inspired by the Ukrainian legend of the Christmas Spider, the magical creature said to have invented tinsel.

Set in 1930s Ukraine, the story follows a brave little house spider whose family is facing desperate times. Papa has been sent away to war, Mama is struggling to put food on the table, and the children cannot seem to stop quarreling. With Christmas drawing near, joy feels out of reach and the warmth of the season seems almost impossible to find.

Determined to help in any way she can, the tiny spider must summon her courage and use the one gift she has: her ability to spin beautiful, shimmering webs. What begins as a small act of hope soon becomes something extraordinary, reminding the family, and all of us, that wonder can shine brightest in the darkest of times.
